I am a mom who is in love with light, art, and memories. I am originally from Paulding County, Ohio but after college, settled down in Leipsic, Ohio – just west of Findlay, with my husband. We started our family in 2015 with the birth of our daughter, Sophie. She is my driving force and keeps me on my toes.
I always had a passion for the arts in high school and college. I bought my first DSLR when my daughter was an infant, and I used it primarily as a way to document her growth. I was determined to learn everything I needed to know so that I would never miss a moment in her life but soon all of this hard work took on a new importance. In September of 2016, my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, and my love for documentary and lifestyle photography blossomed. I wanted to make sure I captured life for him and our daughter because, frankly, we didn’t know what was going to happen in the early stages. Now he is done with treatment, and my passion is larger than ever.
I love to use my passion to capture memories for other families so that they may treasure those forever! I regularly donate sessions to families battling cancer and other illnesses, and I work along side other nonprofits to donate photography for their growth.
I believe that photography is an extension of your story. My style is real; I am focused on telling the story of you and your family. Let me in – and let’s see what we can create together.
